Contest Rules
To be eligible to enter the draw, you must be able to identify and name the four songs found in Interview Number 9 by recognizing that the words that you are reading are indeed part of a song's verse. Once you identify the verse, then you will be able to get the title of the song by Googling that verse. After you retrieve the title of the song, then Google the title to find the release date of the song. You will not only find that the song itself gives a different meaning to my story and vice versa, but the point where the song's release date is mentioned also gives a different meaning to the story.
Prize Details
Those who enter the draw, either through email or text messaging, will receive two entries into the draw for providing me with the correct names of the four songs. The draw will include a total of three winners. First place will receive $10,000; second place will receive $5,000; and third place will receive $3,000. You may only enter the contest once. Your phone number will be entered into a database that will only allow you to enter once.
Earn Extra Entries by Sharing Your Story
There is a way to earn four more entries into the draw, and that is if you decide to answer all or some of the nine questions, those that relate to your life, then you can write your answers on the blank pages provided at the end of each question and share your story with friends, family, and eventually the general public by donating your book to the public library. The librarian will email me confirmation of your donation, and we will override the database to allow you four more entries into the draw. In a way, by doing this, you have written your own book and put it out there for the whole world to see. I recommend that you write your email address on the inner page of the book cover so that you may receive feedback from your answers to the nine questions. This is optional.
Draw Schedule
The first draw will be held six months after the release of the book to generate enough capital to pay out the prize money. If sales remain brisk after the first six months, then I will hold subsequent draws every six months after that. Let's see how many draws we can have. I plan to and will lobby to get the CBS morning show to allow me to hold the draw live on TV during their show. Thanks for participating, and good luck to you.
